What is Aromatherapy? It literally means treatment using scent. The term was first used by a French Chemist Gattefosse in 1937. He discovered the healing powers of essential oils by accident when he burnt his hand and immersed it into a bucket of nearby lavender oil. He was amazed how quickly the burn healed.
How Does it work? The Essential plant oils from our pamper range of candles effect the part of the brain that controls emotions, mood and memory. This causes the calming or invigorating or other affects depending on the oils used.
