Alchemy Gothic ENTROPIA Steampunk Fairy Statue
In 1916, at the height of the great war, an extraordinary discovery was made by two Yorkshire schoolgirls at the bottom of their Cottingley garden. Purely by chance, they had happened upon a race of Fairy beings that spoke an archaic form of Elizabethan English and pledged allegiance to the reigning English monarch. Ever since then, The Cottingley Irregulars have spread their elfish mayhem throughout the industrial world for Faerie, Queen and Country . . . This wonderfully charming cold cast resin statue, made by Alchemy Gothic and titled "Entropia", has excellent detailing, from the gears in the pocketwatch to the industrial design of her wings, and is hand-painted. She measures 9 1/4 inches tall, is 6 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches deep. It makes a great addition to any fairy art collection.
