Genital piercings often spot bleed for between 12 and 24 hours, depending on the depth and type of piercing.
Male piercing will bleed when the client has an errection for the first 48 hours
Deep piercings may spot for several days

If your piercing is uncomfortable once the numbing has worn off you may wish to take panadol or nurofen, remember to follow the manufactures guidelines regarding these.
Remember that your piercing is a wound, there will be a little tenderness, swelling and discolouration and possibly bruising and itching.
A normal part of the healing process is the secretion of yellow fluid, that dries and forms a crust about the Jewellery.
Never touch your piercing without washing your hands
The best place to clean your piercing is the shower, use Protex antibacterial soap Lather the area well and leave for a minute before rinsing the piercing thoroughly to ensure no trace of soap is left behind.
A clean cotton bud will help remove any crusts left behind.
Twice a day for the first 2 weeks, soak your piercing in a saline solution, for around 10 minutes.
A saline solution can be made using 1/4 teaspoon of salt to one cup of warm boiled water.
Drink plenty of water (6 to 8 glasses a day ) to dilute your urine ..
Healthy urine is bug free.
Take care with alcohol and fuzzy drinks as they can make the urine quite acidic.
DO NOT use any creams, ointments on your piercing , this includes betadine and antibiotic creams, as they may irritate the sensitive surrounding skin and kill off the normal healthy bacteria that live in that area . This can cause thrush and other types of infections.
DO NOT swim in any public swimming pools, spa pools or baths for at least two weeks. Swimming in the sea and rivers is fine just make sure you wash the sand out of the piercing.
NO changing your Jewellery for at least a month.
Resuming sexual activity
Sexual activity can be gently resumed, with in the first few days.
BE GENTLE if it hurts change position
Use a condom for the first 4 weeks if the piercing is still tender then continue using condoms each time you have sex for another 2 weeks.
DO NOT allow your piercing to come into contact with another persons bodily fluids including saliva and semen for at least 4 weeks.
If lubricant is required during this time make sure it is a water based one like wet stuff or KY with no flavorings , use sparingly
Once your piercing is healed there should be no pain during sex
With a Prince Albert piercing it is advisable to where at least 8g jewellery, a lot of clients choose to wear bigger but this comes down to a personal choice
