January 2012

Welcoming 2012

The new year has dawned rather quickly for most people, many are still trying to catch up with the energy of completion, thus trying very hard to wrap up projects from last year.
Its a a good time to be looking for alternative ways to get things done.

The January 8th issue of The NZ Womans Day has a wonderful article of some of the psychic work Wendy has been up to. To read the article click to link

  What is January in Numerology?

January breaks down to the Number 1, which is a high energy Vibration that encourages you to concentrate on yourself, and to do things to improve your life.
Since we have also entered the Year of 5 (2012=2+0+1+2=5), another high energy Vibration, you should take advantage of these two Numbers working together. This is a good time to work on your mental, physical and spiritual health. If you have not been taking care of your body, begin an exercise program. If there is a business that you have wanted to launch, but never got around to it, this could be the year for you to finally do it!! Pull in all your resources, talk to people, and see what you can do to get your project moving.
As for your spiritual life, if you are someone who does not want to go to a specific church, I suggest you go to a non-denominational one. It is important to find a place where you can hear words of wisdom that inspire you, and energize your life.
Look at this Month of 1 as a time to improve your relationship with your family. If your home life is not working, now is the time to call a meeting and make some plans to compromise. Sit down with the whole family and find out what each one of you hopes to achieve.
No matter what, this Month of 1 in a Year of 5 is about movement and change, so take advantage of it!

Your Sacred Space

At one time or another we all need a break from the outside world, a place we can visit to quiet our minds, to renew our energy, and a place where we can commune with the heavens and our soul. Some prefer to go on a vacation or on a retreat; some prefer to go to a sacred location like a church, cathedral, synagogue or temple, or even the pyramids! When I am feeling tense, disconnected, or when I need to meditate, I don’t need to always go to a location that’s far away, I can go to my own sacred space located right in my home, which is dedicated to my spiritual work. If you are lucky enough to have a whole room, that’s great, but if not, is there a corner or certain area within a room that you can dedicate to being your “sacred space”?
Some weeks ago I knew it was time to de-clutter my house once again! As I was walking from room to room, I noticed how my life was spilling into other rooms. Papers on the kitchen table, books unread here and there, clothes that were no longer needed in my closets, and cabinets that needed to be cleared. I wrote about this in a newsletter not too long ago, that clearing things out of your life and home will in fact create new space for positive things to enter into your life.
Even though I might have clutter in other parts of the house, I always honor my meditation room. The energy in that sacred room, no matter what the rest of the house looks like, never changes. I keep it uncluttered and clean, and still retreat there often, whether it’s for 5 minutes or an hour. When I’m in there, I can slip into a quiet place very quickly, because the energy of the room has been primed from hours and hours of meditating or doing spiritual work. It’s almost as if the energy has a memory that stays within the room.
Have you ever been inside a home or at a place where you could actually feel the energy? You may have felt nervous or irritated, or maybe it was a place that you couldn’t wait to leave. There may also be places where you feel calm, serene, and protected. It all depends on who or what conditions have been in that place and for how long. My home may have some clutter sometimes, but most people love the vibe of the house – just like I feel the vibe of my “sacred space.”
If this idea is resonating with you, then let’s find a room or space that you can set aside just for you! This room or dedicated space is going to be your place for meditation, studying, journaling, or just a place where you can take a spiritual break and connect with your soul. Most importantly, this should be a place where you’re not disturbed when you need to retreat for your quiet time. Make sure you shut off the computer as the e-mail can wait, and unplug the phone, as you want total peace.
Try to make this special place clean and uncluttered, and you may even consider giving it a fresh coat of paint. It helps to have your space be in a well-ventilated area, or near a window to let some fresh air in to renew the energy. A comfortable chair and a small table are really all that’s required. You may like to have fresh flowers or plants for added energy. Keep the lighting low, or even burn a votive candle or some incense. It’s even good to play some soft music or setup a personal alter if there's enough space. These aren’t necessities, just suggestions.
In my meditation room, I have three colored hand drawings of my guides for inspiration, photos of special family members who have passed on, some mementos of spiritual leaders that I’m connected to, certain crystals that I resonate with, a few knick-knacks that were given to me as gifts, and of course my special comfortable chair. The room is painted in soft blues to create a tranquil atmosphere.
By creating your own special area and only using it for your quiet time, meditation, and personal development, you’ll slowly start to infuse the area with positive psychic energy, and it will take on its own feeling - one of warmth and peace.

The above article Sacred Space is taken from John Hollands news letter and ties in beautifully with Wendy's new meditation CD Sacred Sanctuary.
Sacred Sanctuary meditation is designed to open the heart centre, while strengthening the connection with the higher self.
This meditation helps you find your souls sacred place while helping you connect with your Angels, Spirit Guides and Ascended Masters.
This is a very good meditation for those working towards spiritual development; its design will open doorways for all levels of development.
Sacred space was recorded during meditation capturing the spiritual essence of a channeled meditation, the
recording is good quality but not perfect as it was not
produced in a studio.

Below is a small excerpt from Charles Virtues January news letter

-        Never stop dreaming. In your spare time, or just before going to sleep, let your mind be occupied by only the thoughts and visions of what you most desire for your life. While parts of your mind may try to tell you it is only a fantasy – your job is to overcome this learned self-oppression and let your visions dominate the fears.

-        Once a day, replace a frustration with a wish.  The next time you get stuck on a busy elevator, or in traffic or find yourself in a hectic work or social situation – take just one second to breathe deeply and allow the pent-up energy of that situation to be released as you instead focus on what you would rather be doing, even if it is something others would consider unproductive or silly.

-        Know your self worth. Remember that when others judge you or try to tell you what you are or are not capable of that they are limited by what they themselves have experienced and learned in life. So this means they are not you and never can be. Dreaming of a better life is the ‘secret’ to success, and the old, outdated mentality that you ‘can’t’ is something you have evolved past.

-        Ask the angels for signs. The angels are on high alert right now, they know how important it is for us to not loose hope, and they are as willing as ever to show us the way. Next time you find yourself thinking about your divine goals, ask the angels to show you a guiding sign to confirm your path and lead the way.

-        Be grateful in advance. Gratitude is one of the most powerful forces inside of us, aside from love. Telling the universe and the angels that you are grateful for what you have received and what you will receive aligns your spirit in complete harmony with your dreams. Saying ‘thank you’ when processing a desire shifts your consciousness to an open recipient of blessings.

"As you honor and follow the guidance of your heart, prosperity is coming to you now."

Additional Message: "You are fully supported by Heaven, and we have heard your prayers for financial support. Be assured that we see money as a symbol of the abundant supply that God provides to all of His children. The Earthly negativity surrounding money comes from human minds alone. In Heaven, we see money as the energy of exchange. We know that you need material essentials. Like any loving parent, God wants His children to be comfortable, safe, and happy. That is one of the reasons why He sends you guardian angels."

"Your finances have been blocked in the past because of guilt and other negative beliefs and emotions. I have helped you heal and release much of your negative association with money. Please know that I am here to help you so that you can help more people. The more that you allow me to give you, the more you will be able to give others. In the near future, you will be able to manifest all of your needs. But in the meantime, allow me to help you through my Heavenly contributions."
